FAIRYTALE CLASSICS: An all time favorite!

FAIRYTALE CLASSICS: An all time favorite!

To kick off our new blog and website we took a vote with our team here at The Social Rose to see what everyone would select as their favorite editorials over the years.  Our Fairytale Classics came in as Number 1!

As seen published in Elegant Wedding Magazine, this beautifully designed editorial features soft and pretty pastel tones with antique gold metallic accents.

Our main tablescape design was created using soft and pretty blooms in a variation of pastel tones.  Designed using vases at varying heights and elevated by a collection of vintage books.  Using antique gold charger plates, flatware and stemware.  With old word metal candle stick holders and miniature vases filled with more pastel blooms across the tables.

We used the classic fairytales for our inspiration from Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty and everyone’s favorite; Cinderella.  We introduced pastels of blush, pink, butter yellows, peach with a hint of powder blue as our undertone.  Details such as a sweet scape featuring miniature cakes, donuts, cake pops and sugar cookies complimented our three main cakes.

Pretty menus placed on beds of fresh moss surrounded by vintage place settings for each guest.  The stationery showcases tones of blush pink in a gorgeous letterpress suite.

We loved working with a talented group who helped this entire feature come together from gorgeous fresh florals, to opulent decor, intricately designed cakes and sweets to elegant stationery.  All of these pretty details were captured by Melanie Rebane Photography.  So much eye-candy all in one historically beautiful venue located at Hart House at the University of Toronto.
