Renoir

Renoir

This purple and blue hued shoot, inspired by The Paintings of Renoir was full of beautiful blooms and unique details. From the engraved wooden menus by So Pretty In Print, to the ornate cakes by Fine Cakes by Zehra, every detail offered brides to be incredible inspiration.

Hy’s Steakhouse offered the perfect venue with its beautiful French inspired décor and elegant fireplace, which we enhanced with beautiful gold floral frames and luxe arrangements of hydrangeas, garden roses and orchids. We strived to capture the movement of light and shadow that the impressionist was most celebrated for through the use of colour and line in our florals.

All this snow has us reminiscing of this bright coral shoot we shot with Photographers Name. Bride to be’s with a bold side will love these sunny candy coloured blooms. Soft linens and white accents complimented the statement blooms while crystal accents added a dreamy feel to intimate table setting at The Doctor’s House. The perfect choice for the bride who is not afraid of colour!

Everlasting Flowers – Our Etsy Shop

Everlasting Flowers – Our Etsy Shop

Many of our Bride’s have come to us asking how they can preserve their bouquet or other personal touches from their weddings. While drying your flowers does elongate their life span, the originally beauty of the fresh product is lost in the process. An option we love for creating an everlasting bouquet is using silk flowers.

Many of you may cringe when you picture silk flowers, the image of the dusty arrangement at your Grandmothers house is not the silk blooms we are talking about though! Silk florals have come leaps and bounds in the last few years, looking so realistic you won’t believe you can touch them, and coming in every variety you could imagine from garden roses to ranunculus.

We are so happy to announce that we have opened an Etsy shop catering to the bride that dreams of a bridal bouquet she can keep forever. We offer beautiful designs made of the highest quality silk blooms, bouquets, flower crowns, corsages and even boutonnieres! Soft, muted pastel blooms set against illustrated backdrops, all inspired by rare architectural renderings, bring the romance of Paris to life in this editorial. Our stunning moss and floral archway acted as the perfect statement piece, framing all the Parisian inspired details.

We created the lavish table scape using beautiful pastel blooms in a variety of antique gold vases. Ornate plates and cutlery were accented by soft blue glassware which tied in the hand rendered backdrop created by Aurora Pagano Art & Illustration. This shoot had some of our favourite details, from the white and gold tiffany chairs to the custom ceremony runner, every inch was Pinterest worthy!

House of Juliet – Wedluxe Wedding Show 2016

House of Juliet – Wedluxe Wedding Show 2016

It’s wedding show season, and we have been reminiscing about our time at last years Wedluxe Show at the Carlu. We had the pleasure of designing for the House of Juliet room, which was to house an amazing team of culinary vendors including Oliver & Bonacini, Hotel Gelato and Fancy Pufs. Guests entered the amazing space through our luxe floral entryway, where they were greeted front and center by our large floral fountain. The three tier beauty was flanked by large floral frames and finally a floral canopy with beautiful draping by Eventure Design Inc. We had so much fun transforming this space into a floral paradise with help from the talented team at Fire Dog Creative who handled the rigging and logistics.

We loved working with a talented group who helped this entire feature come together, and meeting the beautiful bride to be’s who we had the pleasure of working with in 2016! We are looking forward to 2017 and the many more amazing wedding and events we have in store!
